KARACHI: Iqra University has been ranked number 1 among Private Universities persisting in Sindh province with Princeton University is last on the list issued by The Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC), Government of Sindh.
Governor of Sindh have approved the list accordingly giving the ranking of the universities in the province.
Five Universities and an Institution have been graded 6 stars, but according to numbers awarded to Universities and Institutions, Iqra University ranked number one, Institute of Business Management (IBM) on second, Karachi Institute of Economics (KIE) third, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutho Institute of Science of Technology (SZABIST) fourth, Institute of Business and Technology (IOBM) fifth.
As many as 14 Universities and Institutions have graded 5 stars. Hamdard University is on sixth, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) seventh, Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP) eighth, Greenwich University ninth, New Port Institute of Communication and Economics (NIPC) tenth, Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) eleventh, Isra University Hyderabad twelfth, Zia uddin University thirteenth, Baqai University fourteenth, Jinnah University for Women fifteenth, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture sixteenth, Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari (KASB) Institue of Technology seventeenth, Zia University eighteenth, Indus university nineteenth.
Whereas three institutions have been graded 4 stars including Dadabhoy Institute of Higher education 20th, COMMECS Institute twenty-one, and Princeton Institute twenty second.
Only one university has been graded 3 stars which is Princeton University.
