Karachi: Sindh Government led by Pakistan People’s Party has decided to challenge Sindh High Court (SHC) verdict in the Supreme Court (SC) regarding Sindh Local Government Act (SLGA) 2013.
The SHC early today given a crucial verdict in which it declared the SLGA illegal and termed as null and void.
Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah called legal experts and copy of the SHC verdict to discuss current situation.
The sources said that this active move by the PPP government against the verdict proved that it has a clear intention to hold elections under only this bill.
