Karachi: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar stressed on creating awareness among the business community to prepare themselves for collecting full benefits of GSP-plus facility for Pakistan by the European Union; providing duty-free market access to over 6,000 Pakistani goods.
He was speaking at separate receptions held in his honour by All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Karachi.
The Governor said that Pakistan can benefit from the GSP-plus status after meeting 27 conventions signed by the government to get fruits with this great opportunity.
He said that the GSP-plus status would provide six thousand Pakistani products duty-free market access in twenty eight European Union states.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar hoped that increase in Pakistan’s exports will create one million jobs in the country.
