SHARJAH: Pakistan has managed to set huge wall of 326 runs against their Asian opponent, Sri Lanka, in the 3rd One Day International (ODI) match being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Mohammad Hafeez alias Professor showed terrific performance in the match by scoring not out 140 runs of 136 balls during the today’s play and lead his team to reach 326 runs with 5 wickets in hand.
Mohammad Hafeez completed his century and smashed hard strokes against their Asian opponent including 11 fours and 3 sixes.
Hafeez played vital role for Pakistani team for setting a reasonable target against the Sri Lanka as the initial phase got into trouble by a early wicket fall.
However, the Pakistani batsman made fine partnerships with Ahmed Shehzad (81) and then with the skipper Mishab-ul-Haq.
Second visible batsman was Ahmed Shehzad who scored 81 runs on 89 balls by hitting 6 fours and 2 huge sixes while Misbah-ul-Haq became third big scorer for the Pakistani team with 40 on only 26 balls.
