DUBAI: Michael Clark, Kumar Sangakara, Cheteshwar Pujara and Umar Gul have managed to get ‘Player of the Year’ titles in various segments of International Cricket Council (ICC) awards.
The 32 years old batsman, Michael Clark, has been selected for ‘Player of the Year’ award in the test cricket, while Pujara manages to add his name into the the list.
Former Sri Lanka skipper and present wicket keeper Sangakara has been chosen for ‘Splendid Player’ in ODI.
Pakistan’s Right-arm fast medium bowler Umar Gul, giving an epic Twenty20 spell, has been chosen for ‘Player of the Year’ in T20. He has got five wickets in only six runs earlier this year in a T20 match against South Africa.
