Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan expressed utmost displeasure on Defense Minister Khuwaja Asif’s attitude over missing person case.
A three-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S.Khawaja and Justice Amir Hani Muslim hearing the case.
During the hearing, the chief justice said that the court was not expecting this attitude from the federal government regarding the missing person case.
He said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was well aware with the development but never supported the court.
“If the PM take notice of this, the missing person will definitely be produced in 24 hours”, the CJ added.
He warned the defense minister either he produced the missing persons or ready for the consequences which will be really tough.
