ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s top military official, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, has paid first visit to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters Islamabad after assuming his charge.
COAS General Raheel Sharif has warmly welcomed by the the Director General (DG-ISI) Lieutenant General Zaheer-ul-Islam over his first visit to the intelligence headquarters.
The prominent intelligence official Zaheer-ul-Islam briefed the COAS over the complete security situations of the country as well as the current national challenges facing by the Pakistan.
The activities of Afghanistan’s intelligence agency in the tribal areas of the country are also discussed in the high-level meeting between the prominent military officials.
The military officials exchanged their views over the expected situation after withdrawal of US troops from the bordering country, Afghanistan.
