Washington: Amazon emerge with another remarkable offer as carrier is now offering Samsung’s flagship phablet Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $169.99 when signing new to year contract.
Verizon is charging $299.99 phablet online. It is the most popular Samsung’s device of this year as its reached record sales within few months after launch. The Note 3 offers some cool and innovative features in a device that blurs the line between tablets and smartphones. Samsung has designed everything from the user experience to its overall design around the Note 3’s 5.7-inch 1080p display. The screen is large enough to comfortably watch a movie and not feel like you’re watching it on a cramped smartphone and it’s small enough to still fit in a pocket.
The S Pen is also another area where Samsung has designed hardware and software around the display. The company’s S Pen is much more than an old school plastic stylus. It can give you previews of messages, images, and more if you just hover it above the screen. It also has some useful functions like Air Command, which brings up a small window with quick access to commonly used features. Its built-in handwriting recognition software also allows the Note 3 to run your handwriting into text.
The display and S Pen are only two of the many great features found in the Galaxy Note 3. The device uses a 5.7-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch (ppi). The phablet ships with Android 4.3 and Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX. Samsung has used a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU), and 3GB of RAM.
Its camera capabilities include a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chat and selfies. It includes 32GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB microSD cards. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The Note 3 uses a large 3,200 mAh removable battery.
