LAHORE: Pakistani fast bowler Wahab Riaz has faced police case while violating function rules by participating wedding ceremony in late night hours in Lahore.
Police officials have registered First Investigation Report (FIR) against the cricket on violation of act 144 imposed by the Punjab government which restricts late night functions.
Police sources told TheNewsTribe that the case lodged against Wahab Riaz over organising wedding ceremony in late night timings while an unofficial source claimed the cricketer accused in violating one-dish rules in the wedding ceremony.
The function was arranged at Wahab Riaz residential place at ‘27, Ahmad Block’, however, no arrestment has been made in the case till yet while.
It should be mentioned that the local administration disallowed organisation of marriage functions after 10:00 pm (Pakistani time).
