PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) has taken a ‘well-thought break’ before going to launch NATO supply blockage campaign as a bid to stop drone attacks.
“From late tomorrow night our party workers along with our allies will stop NATO containers at chosen entry and exit points into KP from both directions indefinitely,” Shireen Mazaari said.
PTI along with Jamaat e Islami and other allies held a massive congregation to show anger over drone attacks.
Ms. Mazaari goes onto saying “PTI’s stance on stopping NATO supplies is very clear. Today PTI’s jalsa in Peshawar inaugurated its programme of stopping NATO supplies indefinitely till US halts all drone attacks with the support of its allies. NATO supplies do not go on weekends and nor will they be stopped on location of jalsa.”
“They will be stopped at various locations in the province but the main location is Ring Road Toll Plaza near Hayatabad.”
The Jalsa today was the first step in building up to this longer action.
