ISLAMABAD: Condemning the US over its policies about drone strikes and War on Terror, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s life is under serious threats and special security plan has been chalked out in this regard.
The PTI chairman’s current stance against NATO supplies and US could jeopardise his life, local newspaper reported.
The report said that the US and its allies were not happy with Khan and could kill him through their local agents.
Law enforcement agencies have already increased in security and informed about the threat to Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
External powers in the country are already busy to destabilize Pakistan and they can kill any prominent personality, the report added.
It is to be mentioned here that the he strongly condemned drone attack in Hangu and said the attack was carried out in settled area of the country for the first time and the US has got courage to attack anywhere in the country, including its capital due to dual policies of the present government.
“We have the legal right to halt Nato supplies now that a US drone has hit the settled district of Hangu,” Imran told a news conference. He added that this strike – the first outside the country’s volatile tribal regions since his party came into power – is a “decisive moment” for Pakistan.
