ISLAMABAD: Former chief of the Pakistan’s intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), General (r) Hamid Gul accepted the challenge of a political party Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s leadership.
General (r) Hamid Gul said that he is ready for word duel but only with Altaf Hussain.
He has invited Altaf to return to the country and have a dialogue with him.
Earlier, the second largest mandate holding political party in Sindh, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), challenged a debate former chief of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), General (r) Hamid Gul over his exclamatory statements.
MQM’s Muhammad Anwar, the member of Central Co-ordination Committee of MQM, placed challenge for a public debate in order to make transparent difference between truths and allegations.
Anwar said, ‘If Gul defeated me in light of evidences; I will quit politics.’
The MQM’s prominent leader added that he felt sorrowfulness on the statement of former intelligence chief General retired Hamid Gul.
