PESHAWAR: The ruling party of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has ended political coordination with its governmental partner Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).
PTI has taken significant and first-ever move in the political history of Pakistan on disconnecting relations with coalition partner over corruption charges, reported by TheNewsTribe representative.
It should be mentioned that PTI’s affiliated Chief Minister KPK, Pervez Khattak, had removed two lawmakers of QWP over finding them guilty in corruption charges.

In recent move, PTI chief Imran Khan directed the CM Khattak for immediate implementation of another decision by cutting off all contacts with Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).
The PTI chief clarified that the top leadership of the political party, QWP, was warned two times but failed to block the corruption paths for the ministers.
Imran Khan praised the transparent performance of second coalition partner, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)’s, ministers by saying that they did a great job to eliminate corruption in the province.
