ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday has insisted for taking concrete moves for holding peace dialogues with Pakistan in maximum shortest time despite delaying it with provision of different excuses.
Imran Khan said that Afghan militants’ top leader Mullah Omar shot down more US soldiers than the killed Pakistani Taliban head Hakimullah Mehsud but still the authorities contacting him for holding peace.
While addressing the session of National Assembly in Islamabad, the PTI chief provided his party’s stance amongst the participants and urged for moving forward in peace establishment instead of being involved in controversies.
Imran Khan said that the higher authorities had made severe mistake by putting themselves inside the outsider’s war.
Khan said that he is still against any military operation anywhere in the country which burdens the Pakistani nation in approximately 90 billion rupees monthly due to large-scale military deployments in tribal areas.
He demanded the federal government for giving tough answer to US government as they completely ‘droned’ the dialogues process on the same night when NATO supply closure announcement was done.
Khan, while concluding his address in NA, urged that all governmental and political powers should be gathered for approaching to the next steps in establishment of peace and without any further delay.
