WASHINGTON: International Courier Company fires 24 Muslims on behalf of offering prayers during duty hours.
According to the sources, the international courier company of DHL at Kentucky fired 24 Muslims on performing Salah during office timings. Earlier, the employees were allowed to offer prayers but then terminated without any formal notice.
‘Council on American Islamic Relations’ voiced their opinion and said that it is against law of America and the right of Muslims. They said that the courier company unjustly fired the employees.
On the other hand, the courier company has stuck to its decision and has denied to change stance regarding restoration of Muslim employees.
