ABU DHABI: Former Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Waqar Younis likely to become coach for Pakistan. Dav Whatmore who is currently coaching the squad will be given duty in National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Due to the heartbreaking results by the ‘Green Shirts’ has decided to opt for change in strategy bringing a new coach. The head coach Dav Whatmore was unsuccessful in motivating the team for desired results. According to sources he is likely to get replaced by former fast bowler Waqar Younis.
Other contenders for coach include manager of team Moin Khan and former captain Inzimam ul Haq. On the other hand, Dav Whatmore will be offered a post in National Cricket Academy by the officials.
