LAHORE: The lives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shahbaz Sharif are in danger in Jati Umra Raiwind, as TTP may look to avenge for the loss of their leader Hakimullah Mehsud, intelligence agencies issued warning.
Since the death of Tehreek Taliban chief, Hakeemullah Mehsud in recent drone strike, there are growing concerns on nation’s security. The intelligence agencies have issued warning for a possible threat on Jati Umra Raiwind, home of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, reported by Daily Nai Baat.
It is expected that the banished outfit Taliban aim to target their families at Jati Umra Raiwind and thus sensing the issue, the intelligence agencies have issued warning to Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Secretary Major (R) Azam Suleman, IG Khan Baig and CCPO Lahore Chaudhry Shafiq Gujjar.
According to the sources, for the purpose of security measures, the fortified walls of Jati Umra have been ordered to raise in the meeting. Decision was made for implementing security in all the governmental buildings and also barriers to be placed outside.
