ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has made austerity move by cutting off financial burden via reduction of unnecessary 50 per cent staff from PM House. The 246 officials have been shifted to establishment division.
The PM house cuts down 50% of its budget and 246 of its officers have been transferred to the establishment division.
Earlier, the strict order of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, tender for the renovation of adjacent roads of PM House was cancelled as ‘unnecessary’ expenditure of the country’s capital.
The renovation project was approved by the previous government of Pakistan People Party while the tender was given to Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Stepping forward towards economic growth, PM Sharif has strictly prohibit the project and directed to adopt the austerity as well to avoid cost-effective projects in future.
