KARACHI: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday has directed the custom officials to commence thorough investigation over 13,000 missing containers in Karachi.
The directions came forward during the hearing of Karachi lawlessness case in the apex court’s Karachi registry today and headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
However, the custom department got orders of the apex court for initiation of investigation for missing containers in order to inspect statistics of legally imported weapons.
SC also asked the authorities for submitting complete particulars of weapons’ dealers and purchasers in the metropolis of Pakistan.
The apex court adjourned the case till November 11.
