LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said Pakistan is no more a viable country unless it doesn’t focus on eliminating corruption and tax invasion.
Imran Khan claimed that the federal government failed to give any policy for overcoming severe economic crisis.
Khan added that increments in prices of petroleum and electricity put heavy burden on the local despite provision of relief to the inflation-hit Pakistanis by the government.
Imran Khan said that nation should wake up to counter such issues always created by the government and he urged the nation for standing on their feet.
He said that corruption is the major reason for the economic crisis but federal government is not making major moves to eradicate the menace.
Imran Khan reminded the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s statement by saying that the CM Punjab accepted the significant figure corruption of about 900 billion rupees in the country.
PTI chief said that the government could collect at least 30 million via imposition of monthly 0.1 million tax on 3 million persons included in the elite class.
While commenting over the International Monitory Fund (IMF)’s aid, Khan said that if Pakistani government is willing to run the country by taking loans from IMF is just like medicating the cancer disease through Disprin, the painkiller medicine in Pakistan also known as aspirin.
