LAHORE: The Pakistan government has increased prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) on Wednesday up to Rs. 7 with providing excuse of hike in international rates.
Local distributors imposed an increment of Rs7 on domestic and commercial cylinders; now new prices will be Rs80 and Rs320 respectively.
The imposed was said to be followed by the variation in international rates of LPG after increment of $61 on per metric ton.
LPG prices in Karachi, Hybderabad, Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkur will be Rs132 per kg while Rs140 in Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Revised prices of the liquefied gas would leave impact on cold areas like Gilgit, FATA, Muzaffarabad and Murree where the rates will reach upto Rs160.
New prices will be applicable on November 3.
