LAHORE: The government of Punjab has completed the legislation for constitution of anti-terrorism force in the province, reported on Saturday.
The provincial government of Punjab will start recruitment for the force in November, while the first squad of anti-terror contingent will complete training in February.
The personnel of the anti-terrorism force will receive a salary of Rs 75,000 per month and would have housing facility.
In the initial stage, the government staffers of different departments will be inducted into the force.
The advertisements for recruitment will be published on October 21 and only those candidates who have passed their exams in first and second divisions would be qualified.
The government in the initial phase will recruit 500 personnel for the force and their training will be complete by February.
The force will be used to counter the terrorist and their activities in the province.
