KARACHI: At least three suspects were killed in bomb blast near MPR Colony in Manghopir area of Pakistans’ largest city of Karachi on Thursday night.
The terrorists expanded the range of their brutal activities to the fourth provincial capital of Pakistan’s Sindh province after carrying out explosions in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province.
Recent attack was carried out near MPR Colony in Manghopir in Karachi, reports said. Police and rangers has cordon off the area and started a search operation.
Police said the explosive material was unconsciously detonated and explosion took place during the transfer of it.
Police confirmed the killing of three suspects involved in transfer of the explosive material to some other place from MPR Colony.
According to the reports, several people were also injured in the blast and the injured were rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by rescue sources for medical treatment.
At least six persons including a child were killed and more than 35 injured in a bomb explosion in Liaquat market of Quetta, the provincial capital city of the Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
Earlier,Earlier, low-intensity bomb blast on a food restaurant killed one person and injured 14 others in the renowned old Anarkali market of Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab province.
Moreover, unidentified terrorists had carried out an attack over polio campaigning teams today via bomb explosion in Peshawar, the provincial capital of the Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
