ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has unveiled a governmental 500,000 houses scheme for poor people and directed the related authorities to finalise the work plan till end of next month.
Nawaz Sharif, while heading a high level meeting in Islamabad today, elaborated the federal government plans for building low-cost housing units for needy locals via public-private partnership, local media reported.
PM Sharif directed the related departments for completion of policy framework for 500,000 homes till the end of November.
The PM added that enhancement in quality of life and production of employments would be made through the project.
Moreover, Nawaz Sharif commented in an another meeting over PM’s Youth Programme by saying that federal government is willing to commence projects for Pakistani youths in light of 350,000 feedbacks and suggestion received till yet.
He said that the government will confirm the provision of best opportunities for young generation via skilled education, training, employments and scholarships in the country.
