KARACHI: Under the umbrella of Science Engineering and Technology (SENTEC), NED University organized mega event with a unique theme “ALL PAKISTAN ROBOT DESIGN COMPETITION, PROJECT EXHIBITION, QUIZ COMPETITION & GAMING COMPETITION”.
SENTEC is a society working for the promotion of Science, Engineering and Technology among the students of NED University. It has been providing technical awareness to the students of engineering for the last 18 years.
This year, the organisation organised ROBO-SENTEC competition that aimed to offered a mutual atmosphere for the amalgamation of various mechanical and electronics designs, control and path planning algorithms and agent architectures.
The main motive behind was to build an autonomous android which is proficient of following a pre-specified route. Amazingly, the ROBO-SENTEC team brought a huge change and introduced a new era in the field of science. The Robots tried to find the optimum solution of most complex and un-solved problems of the universe in the field of computer science, “THE NP-COMPLEATE PROBLEMS”.
With the motto to promote the idea of young engineers, ROBO-ENTEC 2013 gave an industrial exposure to students. The whole event was magnificently organized and successfully captured the interest of the students, guests, sponsors and the media partners. The event ended on the note of bright hopes for the future engineers.
The winners of ROBO-ENTEC 2013 were Sir Syed University’s ULTRASPHNIX TEAM whereas U-MASK TEAM from NED University was declared as runner up.
