LONDON: Britain’s Queen Elizabeth expresses her deepest sentiments for the people of Pakistan on the loss of lives and property.
Queen Elizabeth expressed grief and sorrow over yesterday’s earthquake in Pakistan that claimed lives and property of the people.
In her statement, the Queen requested Prime Minister of Britain, David Cameron to immediately contact government of Pakistan and ask about the updates regarding the relief work to the people hit by earthquake in Balochistan, Pakistan.
According to the officials rise on death toll may be feared as the tremors demolished hundreds of mud houses.
Earlier, earth quake of 7.8 magnitude on Richter Scale created panic among people of Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. The death toll has risen up to 238 and most of the causalities have been recorded in Awran district.
