KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies showed their efficiency arresting various suspects and criminals including kidnapers of bank manager as reported by local media.
According to the sources, one hundred and four alleged criminals have been caught in various incidents and arms and narcotics have also been recovered. Most of them alleged to be target killers and extortionists.
An unidentified man in a car was forced to stop nearby Karachi Arts Council while he was hesitant to show his identification and tried to break through the picket. At the end, he was stopped with many guns pointing towards him.
The police claims that the individual in the car tried to put up an armed resistance but decided against it after brief encounter. Â On further interrogation, it was revealed that three out of four people in the car were kidnappers where as the fourth one was abducted later revealed to be a local commercial bank manager.
The manager revealed that he was demanded Rs. 600,000 as ransom from the family of the manager and further planned to demand Rs1.5 million for setting him free.
Also six other criminals later were caught from Lasbela and were pronounced as linked to the abductors. Two alleged outlaws were also arrested by the Police in Nazimabad no.3. Twelve other suspects were also caught in North Karachi and Gulistan e Johar during targeted operations by Rangers.
