TUNISIA: As many as 13 Tunisian girls have reportedly got pregnant after their ‘Sexual Jihad’ with Al Qaeada fighters fighting in Syria.
“A number of Tunisian girls who had traveled to Syria to perform “sexual jihad” there have returned back home pregnant,” says Lotfi Bin Jeddo, the interior minister of Tunisia.
“The Tunisian girls “are (sexually) swapped between 20, 30, and 100 rebels and they come back bearing the fruit of sexual contacts in the name of sexual jihad and we are silent doing nothing and standing idle,” Al Arabia has quoted him saying during his address to the constituent assembly.
The ministry, Lotfi says, has banned 6,000 Tunisian nationals to travel Syria since March 2013 and has arrested 85 people with reported links with network engaged in sending Tunisian youths to Syria.
“Our youths are positioned in the frontlines and are taught how to steal and raid (Syrian) villages,” the site quoted Bin Jeddo saying who also busted at human rights groups for voicing against traveling ban.
On the other hand, Former Tunisian Mufti Sheikh Othman Battikh reveals that 13 girls from Tunisia were mesmerised to offer sexual services to rebels fighters in Syria.
Terming the Sexual Jihad as a form of prostitution, he says ‘it is moral and educational corruption.’
But the words from the banned outfit on the issue have yet to come.
