QUETTA: The local bodies polls are likely to be held on the same day on Nov 27 in Pakistan as the lawyers of all the provincial governments nodded in the supreme court.
The date emerges during the local government election case at the Quetta registry of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case.
Lawyer of Sindh government told SC that Sindh government would hold the local body’s election on 27th of November 2013.
It would leave better impact if all four provinces hold the election on the same day, lawyer of Punjab government said.
