KARACHI: Theft incidents in University of Karachi have always grabbed attention of the students and teachers.
Even though University of Karachi has efficient security measures but no steps yet have been taken to put an end to the theft cases. According to the sources, this time an incident of theft of equipment has taken place inside KU’s Mehmood Hussain Library.
Sources also claim that it’s fourth consecutive incident this year and teachers and students have demanded strict action against the perpetrators. Earlier this year more or less 2000 degrees were stolen from the university.
The teachers association has boycotted the classes until the perpetrators of theft incident are caught. Besides that incidents of mobile snatching have also taken place time to time. Despite of security personnel being present in KU, nothing has been done thus far.
