RAWALPINDI: Line of Control (LoC) tensions are constantly increasing between neighbouring countries, India and Pakistan, due to continuous fire exchange between military personnal.
Incident of fire exchange between Indian and Pakistani troops occurred on Friday as well on LoC on Kotli and Battal sectors.
Pakistan’s military sources claimed that Indian troops opened fire in Kotli and Battal sectors of Pakistan, however, no casualty has been reported till yet but increases panic between the residents of the area.
The sources added that Indian military officials violates LoC twice on Thursday by firing over eight hundred mortar and artillery shells which resulted injuring of six civilians in Kotli sector.
On the other hand, Indian media claimed that Pakistan fired across the Line of Control in the Kargil and Drass sectors of Jammu and Kashmir for the first time in the 14 years since the Kargil war of 1999.
The Indian media said that firing continued overnight in the Poonch sector after India retaliated strongly to Pakistani attacks that injured three Pakistani soldiers, three Indian military officials, and some civilians early on Thursday as India celebrated Independence Day.
Indian media added that the ceasefire violation has been made by Pakistan for the 11th  time in the last one week.
Pakistan’s military sources said that Indians have committed thirty-four serious LoC violations during last twelve days.
