These power plants will be able to generate 1100 mega watt each. Earlier, in 1968, Kanupp 1 was introduced which had a capacity to generate 137 Mega Watt and was revived in 2004 by the Pakistani engineers.
New power plants Kanupp 2 and Kanupp 3 are one of its kind projects that are being introduced in Pakistan and China collaboration. The two countries have already been working together for atomic power plants Chashma 1 and Chashma 2.
