Islamabad: Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has taken suo moto action over worsen law and order situation in Balochistan.
Chief Justice Pakistan has taken notice of security officials and the citizens’ killings while the hearing of the case is scheduled on August 15 in Quetta registry and notice has been sent to Attorney General along with related authorities.
Besides suo moto, CJP ordered to hear different related cases including petition no. 2010/77 which were registered for situation of peace in the city.
Earlier, a senior police officer Habibullah was killed by miscreants attack before two days and at least 25 were killed in suicide bomb attack during his funeral prayers.
Moreover, assailants gunned down 13 passengers after identification in Bolan district while they were returning to home for spending Eid-ul-Fitr vacations.
