QUETTA: Ten security officials have been killed and at least four were injured in an attack carried by unknown armed persons attacked on a check post on Saturday in Gwadar of Balochistan province.
Unknown assailants carried out an furious attack with mortar shells and automatic weapons on a security checkpost in Sansar area of the port city of Gwadar, TNT representative reported.
Governmental sources confirmed the death of five security men in the attack and several injured as total of 15 officials were deployed in the check post.
The sources added that dead bodies and injured ones has been shifted to Gwadar’s Pakistan Coast Guard Headquarter and search operation been commenced to arrest attackers.
Independent  sources said that death toll rises upto 10 while others where severely injured, however, the attack is not claimed by any militant organisation till yet.
