LAHORE: Facing a loss of billions on account of corruption and forgery, Railways Minister has sorted out a formula to end such loss.
Khawaja Saad Rafique, the federal ministry, stresses upon corruption watchdog of the country to extensively investigate the corruption in Railways.
“All registered cases should be actively pleaded in the courts,” he said and added that every penny looted should be brought back.
The loss of Railways has reaching over Rs. 10 billion, as per budget document, and it is on continuous decline for years.
Saad Rafique looking furious over fraud, forgery and malicious conduct within the ministry called bringing all such elements to book.
He has also presided over meeting regarding pending cases in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to discuss the major cases.
NAB officials were invited to initiate probe against the nominated persons in corruption cases in the Railways.
