ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reaches Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarter this morning.
According to official sources, Director General Lt. General Zaheerul Islam will brief the country’s premier over security situation in the country.
The chief minister of eastern province of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz was accompanying him.
The prime minister is the constitutional head of the master spy agency of the country. He has visited the ISI headquarter after a long span of 14 years.
The security analysts believe that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader would give instructions to the agency to play its significant role in ending lawlessness wave, which is on surge in last few weeks.
Strict security arrangement had been made in areas adjacent before the prime minister reached the agency’s headquarter.
