KARACHI: Former interim minister in Sindh, Iqbal Dawood Pakwala has been arrested over alleged embezzlement of Rs2.2 billion in Employees Old Age Benefit Institute (EOBI).
According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) official, the former minister remained involved in alleged corruption of billions.
Iqbal Dawood has also worked as Directo Investor of EOBI. He was also the part of interim cabinet of Sindh province.
He had allegedly purchased expensive land on behalf of EOBI, which has a much lower market price.
