ISLAMABAD: The addition in taxes on mobile phone services has been challenged in the supreme court.
The petitioner Shahid Orakzai prays for an stay order against the additional taxes.
“The additional taxes are against the agreement with the mobile phoner operators in the country,” the petitioner further said.
He further prayed to declare any move against foreign investors against the constitution. The federal government has raised the taxes on mobile phone services in the budget 2013-14 triggering a wave of reaction from mobile phone users.
