LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his plans for bringing in new solar powered tube wells in the province to facilitate farmers.
CM Shahbaz Sharif has conducted a meeting with the delegation of Nizam group, the solar energy experts of Pakistan, to receive briefing regarding the solar tube wells’ project.
Provincial minister of energy Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, secretary energy Usman Bajwa was also present in the special meeting while the Nizam delegation gave briefing to the government officials.
The CM vowed to provide modern solar powered tube wells to the farmer across the province in order to avoid deprivation caused by extreme energy crisis.
Shahbaz Sharif added that former government has showed criminal negligence with the by wasting precious five years in their tenure.
Sharif added that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will fulfill the promises for elimination of energy crises at any cost.
