Washington: With the evolution in technology, tablets size gets small as the technology giants Samsung and Microsoft are coming with some new small size gadgets in tablet world.
Korean giant Samsung joined hand with search engine giant Google as they co create Samsung Google Nexus 11. On the other hand software giant Microsoft will introduce mini edition of Surface pro “Surface Mini”.
Samsung is leading the market as the company has just launched an 8 inch Galaxy Tab 3 while Microsoft haven’t introduced any of its devices yet.
Here are some features of the Google Nexus 11 and Surface Min.
Lets have a look at the screen of these devices: first we take a look at Surface Mini which will be coming with the smallest screen of 7.5 inch with display resolution of 1400 X 1050 as compared to the other devices.
On the other hand Nexus 11 might be coming with 11 inch crystal clear video and Super PLS display panel with the resolution of 2560 X 1600.
According to rumors, the Surface Mini is expected to have new Intel chip while Nexus 11 might have a 1.8 GHz Quad core tega 4 and a 72-core NVIDIA GeForce.
According to reports, an upgraded Window Blue 8.1 will be the part of Surface Mini. As rumors suggested that, Nexus 11 will run the latest version of Android Jelly Bean.
The Surface Mini and new Nexus 11 will offer the same storage capacity of 64 GB with microSD slot.
Surface Mini will offer its users to experience an 8 megapixels. On the other hand Nexus 11 might be coming up with 5 megapixel camera.
Though there are no confirmed reports yet, but Surface Mini and Nexus 11 are expected to come next year.
The expected price of Surface Mini will start from £260. The Nexus 11 is at the processing stage so the price haven’t been decided yet by the company.
Above features give us an idea that what kind of the products will be available in the market from the technology giants. The question is: who would rule the mini tablet segment in 2013 and 2014?
