ISLAMABAD: Seems willing to establish law and order in the country, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan orders ministry officers to stop all foreign visits.
In his official orders late Friday night, Nisar restricts the officials of Interior ministry from unnecessary foreign trips.
Pakistan, a home to about 180 million people, have been through a turbulent time with many internal and external elements have been creating law and order situation in the country, the sources said.
Keeping in view of the situation, the minister has issued these instructions to keep ministry officials working on resolving the law and order issues instead of enjoying foreign trips.
A hotline for addressing public complaints in the attached departments of the ministry must be set up, the orders further explain.
According to Radio Pakistan, the minister banned foreign tours by the ministry officials for the next six months unless it is extremely necessary.
