ISLAMABAD: Taking strict notice of disbursement of billions of rupees from discretionary funds, Supreme Court of Pakistan summons former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The apex court said former PM Raja Pervez Ashraf should appear before the court on July 16 in development funds case and should inform the court usage of the discretionary funds.
The court has taken action following reports of expenditure of billions with grant of former prime minister.
The apex court has also issued notices to parliamentarians who had used uplifting funds under Peoples Work Programs II besides maintaining stay order on the program.
