KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Muhammad Hussain Mahenti demanded of the government to conduct judicial inquiry of Burns Road incident.
In the incident the judge of Sindh High Court (SHC), Justice Maqbool Baqar got injured and 9 other persons including security personnel were died.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, JI Karachi Chief strongly condemned the incident and termed it a point to ponder for the government and the officials of the law enforcing agencies (LEAs), as despite the tight security of Rangers, the incident was took place in broad day light.
JI leader demanded early arrest of the culprits involved in the incident.
“The terrorists are openly challenge the writ of the government, as the judges of high courts are not safe by the terrorist attacks, so how the common man could be saved by these elements”, he questioned.
Mahenti further said that the terrorist incidents have suffered the people into mental agony and the government has become helpless to control the present deteriorated law and order situation, as none of the terrorists has yet to bring into the court of justice.
He feared, if the present law and order situation will continue, then the peace of the city will destroyed completely.
Mahenti expressed his deep condolence to the families of those who lost their lives into the incident.
