LAHORE: Punjab’s Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif vowed to work for the elimination of energy crisis on ‘war footing’ because every development area has been affected by the issue.
While addressing in Model Town, CM Punjab said that we have to go forward without wasting time and he urged to boost the speed of work on new projects as the government only need work and results.
The CM directed to form cabinet committee in order the counter the energy issues in the province and he ordered the related departments to submit final recommendations for applicable projects.
It is pertinent to note, the menace of load shedding has got out of control which added to the woes of the dwellers and traders in Pakistan.
Moreover, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has visited Neelum-Jhelum Hydro Power Project which will generate 969 Mega Watts electricity on June 19 and ordered to speed up the project work in order to produce significant amount of electricity.
