ISLAMABAD: In a bid to fulfill its claims of controlling corruption after coming into power, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has found out a way to minimize corruption.
Telling details of the way, federal minister for planning and commission Ahsan Iqbal says that there would be no discretionary funds for the government officials.
According to the minister, the measure has been taken to avoid any corruption.
“No discretionary funds will be allocated in the new budget to ensure fiscal discipline‚ transparency and to check corruption.”
“The government will appoint competent professionals as heads of various public sector and semi government organizations to bring visible improvement in their performance,” he further said.
