With everyone is eyeing on Apple’s WWDC 2013, there seems no chances to see upcoming editions of iPhones including iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 till September this year.
Deutsche Bank Equity Research analyst Whitmore predicts that upgraded iPhone 5S and flagship iPhone 6 would be released in September.
He reported that Cupertino-based firm had placed orders for components of upcoming range of smartphones.
The production of the devices will be started in August, Whitmore further said in his note on Thursday.
Here is the calculation of release dates for the devices:
“Our checks indicate orders for the new iPhone are starting now for longer lead-time components. Specifically, we believe Apple is currently placing component orders for iPhone volume manufacturing to ramp in the August timeframe, suggesting they’re on pace for a late September launch.”
The Deutsche Bank analyst further predict that no hardware would be released in the WWDC 2013, to be held from June 10 to 14.
He expected a refreshing look, however, of iOSÂ “due for a material upgrade in order to freshen and reinvigorate the ‘cool’ factor around Apple’s products.”
“The general look and feel of iOS is six years old and is in desperate need of an update and some spark. It seems clear that Jony Ive’s fingerprints will be all over iOS 7, which we expect to be the most significant iOS upgrade from a visual perspective.”
We have reported in earlier posts that Tim Cook’s significant statement that major devices would make appearance in fall of 2013 and throughout 2014 has already made tech experts believe that there are near zero chances of launch of iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 in the summer season.
