Islamabad: Tit for tat is an old saying with everyone can see its implications in our daily lives and things around us.
But political tit for tat was witnessed in National Assembly of Pakistan session on Monday when future prime minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Sharif turned his face away from former party leader and now a political foe Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
Sheikh has been elected from Rawalpindi with support of PML-N political rival Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf. He avoided to meet with Nawaz Sharif in first session of the assembly.
After the start of Monday’s session, Nawaz entered into the assembly hall with Chaudhry Ninsar Ahmed while Sheikh Rasheed was standing on his seat. Nisar shook hand with Sheikh, however, Nawaz moved straight to his seat.
