Lahore: Jamal Leghari, former president’s son, has survived an assassination attack by unknown assailants in capital city of Punjab, Lahore, leaving him injured, police sources said.
According to initial reports, Jamal Leghari, son of former president Faroq Leghari, has received bullets in his left arm and has been shifted to a private hospital.
The hospital sources said that Jamal’s condition is out danger as he receives medical treatment at the hospital.
However, Jamal Leghari’s sibling Owais Leghari clarified that the gun mistakenly fired by himself when he was cleaning it.
Owais Leghari denied the reports of miscreants attacks, he said that Jamal is injured by his own gun.
Jamal has recently won seat of provincial assembly of Punjab.
