MULTAN: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Javed Hashmi said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement had knelt down in Karachi as Pakistani nation want “New Pakistan” not a monarchy.
While addressing to lawyers in Multan, Javed Hashmi explained that we gained vote bank by revolutionary struggle around the count and now the time of all traditional parties are almost done.
He said that our nation want a new Pakistan as KPK people proved and Pakistanis does not want Kingdom of Saudi Arabia like monarchy system in Pakistan.
It is pertinent to be noted, PTI organised several successful sit it against vote rigging and polling stations hijacking activities in Karachi.
The sit in and protests drew attention of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice over the allegations.
However, ECP has ordered to conduct re-polling on 43 polling stations of NA-250 under the supervision of army.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) went against the decision and demanded to conduct re-election on 180 polling stations of the constituency by filling its request in ECP.
Afterwards, ECP rejected the MQM’s stance as they failed to clarify their statement with proves and directed for re-polling on 43 polling stations only under tight security of army.
After the final decision of ECP, MQM boycotted from the re-election event on the constituency.
