PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rahman has refused to accept Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), the north-western province of Pakistan.
JUI-F chief Fazl-Ur-Rahman has put vote rigging allegations in KPK and refused to admit the election results which is in favour of PTI.
JUI-F chief alleged rigging activities was done in several districts, ballot boxes were stolen while the election results of Dera Ismail Khan was changed.
However, Fazl-Ur-Rehman has announced to hold protests against illegal electoral activities found in the KPK and also demanded to conduct re-election.
Currently, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam is the second most elected party in KPK having 16 provincial seats while independent candidates won over 13 seats.
It is to be notified that PTI emerged as the major elected party in the province of KPK by winning around 34 provincial seats.
